New year new challenges…

Hello guys,

How are you in this cold weather. Hope all of you are healthy and happy!

Today I would like to tell you more about how my year started. I decided that 2021 will be different for us, because of the all changes we made last complicate year.

So first I decided to turn into myself and start a really healthy life. I decided to turn to a nutritionist for a complete and balanced meal plan and now I’m finishing my first week of this change.

I decided to stay away from all my negative thoughts and feelings about our new apartment and stop chopping this topic with my husband, so after all whatever happens with us in the future, at least I will be sure for myself that I did everything that I could.

I’m pretty sure that this year will be challenging too, even more than the last one, but this is something good. Challenges come to our life’s to change it in a good way, I strongly believe in this! Even in the worst scenario ( for example friend of mine just lost her kid due to a cancer… I really don’t know what to say to her now…it’s hard…).

All I want to say is that yes, life is hard… I experience a lot of shakings in my mood, doubts in my own abilities, but if you let all those feelings to take advantage of you the situation would become even worse.

I decided for myself that I’ll stop making all those big plans for everything and try just to have an idea of what I’m gonna do or where we’re gonna go and etc. I would like to be more flexible at the end of this year, more the type of person who’s trying to solve the problem, not to analyse it forever.

So this is practically my most bright new year’s resolutions. What about yours? I will be very happy if you share some of them with me in the comments below.

Have a great day and weekend!

xoxo

ELL

The positive part of 2020

Hello guys,

In the very end of this year I would like to turn back and think about of all the positive things that happened to us. I mean, yes, 2020 was a very hard year for all of the people in the world…some of us lost friends or family members, some of us lost their main income, some of us went through this year with other personal issues due or not to coronavirus… but instead of looking back with regrets… let’s be thankful for the lessons we learned and continue in the New Year with more positive thoughts!

I understand how hard could be that, but in the other way we won’t win anything if we stay on the negative side of the situation.

Whatever happens in the future with the spread of the coronavirus… let’s trick it with more flexibility, with calmness and more smiles 💖

First I would like to say a big Thank you to all of you, who read, like and are actually interested in my blog page! Thank you guys, I really appreciate it, this page was a dream that came true this year, because I was able to say to my self “ What are you afraid of?! Just do it!”

I’m not gonna make this post like the typical New Year’s resolutions, this year I’m just thankful… for all that things, that happened to me, to all the lessons I learned, to all of my friends and family!

2021 is a new chapter… you all are capable to do whatever you really want to! Yes, it’s not easy… but after all it’s worth it, believe me 😘

Thank you all for staying with me this year!

I promise to share a lot of new adventures with you in the next one 🥰

Stay healthy and positive!

xoxo

Happy New Year!

Living in a pandemic times… how to avoid the panic and live a normal life instead

Hello everybody,

I’m writing today about this very painful topic from the beginning of this year, the COVID-19 pandemic.

Lately our situation here in Bulgaria increased and we are having more and more positive cases, so yes, nobody is pretty sure if we won’t experience another lockdown in the next couple months. So again nobody could plan anything and I’m not talking about some weekends getaways, but even Christmas holidays, New Years Eve and etc.

I’m wondering however what happened with the seasonal flu and viruses that were so common in this season, because everything that you could hear nowadays is COVID-19, all right, but what happened with the flu…

I don’t want to go deeper in my thoughts about the line between the seasonal flu and the Covid virus and is there a line at all, so just wanna tell you guys to try at least to live normally, to eat more healthy food, to try to exercise more….living a healthy life is the first step of protecting yourself from all those viruses.

With the consuming of more vegetables and fruits we are increasing our chance not even to have a better immune system, but to feel better in our own bodies. In addition to that if we add some light exercises to our daily routine, that would help our metabolism to start working faster and to get rid of some extra pounds/kg. Doesn’t that sound’s good?

Trying to keep things in a normal way it’s not always an easy job, but we could give it a try 😎

I’m that kind of person who always try’s to make the things look in a more positive way, so whatever happens in the next few months, no matter how many plans we have to reschedule just let’s try to be more positive 💖

Just keep your minds and bodies healthy, smile more and enjoy your time always, even if you have a bad day…do something for your self…something to make you feel better and happier!

Thank you everyone for reading my blog today!

If you like it, you know what to do 👍🏻

Have a great afternoon guys!

xoxo

Do we take our partner for granted?!

Hello guys, in this sunny autumn afternoon I’m thinking about our relationships and how sometimes we take our partners for granted without even noticing that.

Yes, with our busy schedules during the week and even weekends, somehow we stopped being romantic. We just go through our tasks and at the end of the day, we are so tired of that routine that we just turn Netflix or some YouTube channels and just fall asleep after. And did anyone actually notice that this routine is repeating again and again… and if we don’t wake up on time from this bubble we take the risk to destroy our relationships.

I’m not sure if we women notice that situation more often than men…, but sometimes it really hurts when you went through that conversation several times in your relationship and your partner still wakes up in the morning, knowing that you two are alone (the kids are not in your bedroom) and you could have some privacy and instead of hugging and kissing you, he takes his phone and open the newsfeed or Facebook…

I’m not trying to say that every day should be exciting adventure for you, because sometimes it’s really nice to just stay at home with your partner, instead of going out, and pour a glass of wine, turn the Netflix on…but let’s not get so comfy with that and try to pay more attention to your relationship. Do some new things for both of you, travel to new places, discover new things together…if we don’t make the effort to keep the flame of our marriage/partnership, believe me, it won’t last for long… In the times we live, into the quick liquidity relationships and hectic daily life…we have to at least try more often to spend some quality time with our partner.

So…after all…everything that matters is love. Love yourself, love your partner, family, friends….when we give love it returns to us…this is the circle of life 💕

Life is good, because there is you, right next to me!

Thank you all for reading my thoughts this afternoon, if you like it, you know what to do 😎

Have a great afternoon!

xoxo

Healthy life or where is the thin red line

Hello guys, today I would like to discuss something different with you.

It’s all about the healthy life that literally deluge our everyday life. I mean…how many of you were having organic food instead of a random one ten years ago, how many of you used to go to the gym or make some home workouts…used to eat chia, avocado, quinoa and etc… How many of you are people who can’t live without activities. I’m one of them…I confess, but that’s because I used to play rhythmic gymnastics for 9 years and I grew up with sports in my life. But also, when I was younger I used to eat much more carbs, fat and junk food than nowadays and this is also because the healthy life has such a good marketing strategies not only in my country but all over the world. And it is something great, because one of the most popular diseases this days is the obesity of the population.

But I want to tell you something, mostly to the women who are reading my post (unfortunately we are the part of the humanity that is affected mostly by the fit and healthy bodies, trying to be and look perfectly in the eyes of the people around us) this is a thin red line and if you don’t know how and where is your limit the results of that lifestyle aren’t healthy at all…and yes, I’m talking exactly about anorexia and bulimia.

The joy of a salad is that it can be made up from almost anything and it will always provide you with a healthy, colorful, and fun food experience.

It all starts in your mind…someone told you “hey, it looks like you gained some weight” or even more innocent “ I like your muffin top” and than you decide to start living much more healthy life and to rid of those couple pounds extra…all right, good idea, to exchange the grease junk food with their healthy equivalents, to eat more veggies…but some people can’t just keep that and seeing how much weight they lost just want to continue that way…and this is exactly the begging of that spiral of that terrible diseases.

There is nothing wrong to want for your self to have a healthy body and healthy mind, to workout, to try to eat healthy and good food, but believe me if you start to feel good only when you see how much kg you lost…just stop for a while and make a cheat day or even week…my point is to learn where is that red line and to learn how to not cross it.

My all point is that we should learn how to love our bodies whenever they are…stretch marks or not, cellulite or no…this is our body… everything could change nowadays…there is aesthetic procedures, cosmetics, healthy meal plans, home workouts and etc. , but if we don’t feel that love and respect to our own bodies nothing of that would be satisfying for us…and we will end up wanting more and more and all that efforts won’t be ever enough for us.

So think about it…look your self in the mirror and say “hey, gorgeous, you look amazing today” !

Thank you guys for reading my story today! This topic is really sensitive for me either, so if you like it, you know what to do 😉

Have a great day!

xoxo

My life…my choices…my moments

Hello everyone, thank you so much for joining me in my new adventure 💖

In my previous post I shared some info about my life (if you didn’t read it, now is the time you could do it 😛) , now I’m gonna introduce myself a little bit more. My name is Elitsa, but you could call me Ell’s or Elly, I’m from Sofia, Bulgaria, I currently live there and I decided to start this blog, because this is something I really wanted to do last couple years, but I wasn’t maybe brave enough to start, or wasn’t the right time for that. Nowadays I feel much more confident to start and just type some of my thoughts, desires, choices, travel experience, parenting and etc. That’s my point…if you wanna do something…just do it, don’t worry about who’s gonna like it, who’s gonna criticise you and who’s gonna support you…don’t be afraid to start…even if you fail, you can stand up and continue fighting for what matters to you and what makes you feel happy! Life is too short, literally … so fight for you dreams and don’t let the fear or some kind of insecurity to take that dream apart from you!

Be brave my dears and smile to this world, let your minds and souls be full of love and the Universe will answer you back the same way 💕

Born to stand out, not to fit in 🦩
